You can continue to use older License Keys for as long as you want. However, you do not have to upgrade to version 9 if you do not want to. If you own a Lumion 8 License Key (or older), an upgrade fee must be paid in order to get version 9. The last update that was released is Lumion 8.5. Lumion 8: If you own a Lumion 8 License Key, all of the Lumion 8.x updates that were released in 20 were free. Lumion 9: If you own a Lumion 9 License Key, you are entitled to receive all updates for free until version 10.0 is released in quarter 4 of 2019.
